There are various things you can do by either volunteering or joining the street team. All-ages are welcome.
Volunteering
Blacksun Festival IV is fast approaching, and we need volunteers to help with a few aspects of the event. Past volunteers have enjoyed reduced admission to the Festival in exchange for helping out over the weekend. Everyone has a great time, and the extra help is always appreciated. Volunteers are needed for front door ticketing, merch table, stage crew, and catering. Street team volunteers are also needed over the next several weeks leading up to the Festival, handing out flyers at concerts and clubs. All interested volunteers MUST submit the following information to me (tammy@NOSPAM.rubicat.com*) in order to be matched with a supervisor: Your real name email address mailing address Desired placement (merch, Catering, etc) Any specific skills/experience that might help us place you Number of hours you are willing to work (average is 2-4 hours per night) If you have a connection to a Blacksun staff member, list it. This information will be kept confidential among Blacksun Festival staff, and will help ensure that you have a great time while providing us with essential extra help during the Festival. Pre-Parties
Would your club night like to host an official pre-party? We're looking for a few good parties come February 2008. We will provide you with CDs from various bands performing at the festival as well as mention your party in our official announcements. If you're interested, please send the name of your night, venue information, and date you're looking to host the party to amy@NOSPAM.blacksun-festival.com*.
