Program Guide Submissions
ADVERTISE IN THE OFFICIAL BLACKSUN FESTIVAL IV PROGRAM GUIDE
Advertising space is now available in the official Blacksun Festival Program Guide. Each festival attendee will receive a free Program Guide featuring schedules, performer and exhibitor bios, an area map, and other relevant information. Placing an ad within is great exposure and a great way to support underground music and art. We're looking for international/national businesses that appeal to the Gothic-Industrial scene as well as local businesses (such as restaurants and shops) that attendees can visit during their three-day stay in New Haven. This is a national festival that keeps getting bigger and better every year, and the Program Guide serves as a major source of information for attendees, as well as a souvenir.

All ads must be submitted as print-ready 300 B&W DPI files. The following file formats are accepted: TIF, EPS, PDF, or native PSD, AI, or INDD files.
Artwork must be created at 100% of print size, and text must be either converted to outlines or provided with the ad files.
To ensure legibility, keep type above 10pt, and avoid condensed, oblique, and light typefaces.
Carpe Nocturne is offering a free, 6-month banner spot in their Blacksun Coverage Feature to anyone who purchases an ad in the offical Blacksun Program Guide. The image size must be 468x60 pixels in one of the following formats:
GIF (animated GIF accepted), JPEG, PNG, or animated FLASH (please hardcode the target URL with the file).
Need even more reason to buy a banner? Our friends at Carpe Nocturne
have gone one step further and announced that in addition to the
banners running in the Blacksun Area for a year, on the weekend of
the event they will be getting a couple of BSF volunteers to
randomally choose 2 of the advertisers to have their banners run in
the main rotating banner on the Carpe Nocturne home page and every
page on the site for a year!

For a one-time charge of $25, we will post your 468x60 pixels banner on the official Blacksun Web site, where it will appear in rotation on EVERY page of the site from date of purchase through March 17, 2008. Accepted formats are GIF (animated GIF accepted), JPEG, PNG, or animated FLASH (please hardcode the target URL with the file).
NOTE: This online spot is limited to ten banners and is only available in addition to a print ad package.
